The Big Bead Show

Exciting news! Bead magazine’s Big Bead show will now be held twice next year. Due to popular demand a new show has been added in April.

So the big bead dates for 2010 are April 17 and October 30. Make sure you have both dates marked down in your diary, and firmly circled on your calendar.

That’s when you need to join beaders from all over the country at the Big Bead Show at Sandown Park, Esher.

This year’s show was once again an incredible success, with both exhibitors and visitors effusive in their praise. More than 4,000 beaders went through the door at Sandown to create wonderful atmosphere around the bustling aisles.

This year we’ll be running three days of exciting workshops to cater for all levels of expertise. They will take place in the run up to the October show. To avoid disappointment register your interest here . Please indicate in your main topics of interest to ensure that we have enough classes for all. All those who register will be emailed a booking form in advance of the general release of details.

Show organiser Maria Fitzgerald said: “People do seem to love the show at Sandown. They love the wide array of stands, but they also appreciate lots of other things the venue gives, from the easy, free parking through to the large café, and the many seating areas.

“We’ve been asked for a long while by both beaders and exhibitors to hold a second show during the year, and now we’re delighted to announce that we’ve managed to book Sandown for April 17.”

Stands are already booking up fast for both dates, so Maria advises exhibitors to book their places as soon as possible. Last year’s show had a long waiting list.

But already you can be sure that both shows, organised by Bead, the UK’s number one bead magazine, will once again feature the top names in British beading, from makers to suppliers, along with a host of shops. The October show will also feature the prestigious British bead Awards once again.

Demand for tickets is bound to be great for both dates so make sure you book your tickets now. Special early bird offers are available.

Sandown Park is a great venue with a modern exhibition hall and is also easy to get to by car or train. Access from the motorway network is simple and well sign-posted and once there, the huge car parks offer visitors ample parking space. Located within the M25 it is only 25 minutes by train from London Waterloo.
